Allow product to hydrate for 5 minutes before application and add more liquid if mixture is too dry. More powder = thicker clay. *Bentonite is very unusual in the fact that once it becomes hydrated, the electrical and molecular components of the clay rapidly change and produce an electrical charge. When mixed with liquid, it rapidly swells open like a highly porous sponge. Skin toxins are drawn into the sponge through electrical attraction and once there, they are bound. When the clay is dry and rinsed away, the toxins are washed away with it! Using metal utensils to stir will deactivate this electrical charge and reduce the power of this mask.
